Introduction
Maintenance of a low voltage lighting system begins when you choose the appropriate material during the design stage. Once you have completed the installation, you will have to keep the fixtures clean and free from corrosion.
You will also need to adjust them to the correct setting, and replace a lamp from time to time. On rare occasions, the problems may be more of a challenge; for example, a damaged wire.
Learning Outcomes
Once you have completed this module, you will be able to:
explain how to take maintenance into account during system design, and
describe general maintenance requirements.
